The Building Communities show premiered on DATV, Dayton, Ohio, in spring 2004.

You'll travel coast to coast with Liz as your host. Each episode features a visit to a different community, and sometimes includes interviews with the residents, architects, builders, developers, and more. You'll experience a look at various aspects of building construction and living styles, from building techniques and utility resources to the many ways in which people manifest community living. And more often than not, with a slant towards alternatives from the mainstream. Sometimes, you'll find a look at historical aspects, and other times, you'll find that Liz is just presenting you with some fun on the topic of building communities!
The goal of the show is to present options, ideas, and food for thought. And always with a tad of humor wherever it can be found.
