Elizabeth

Elizabeth's life has been about music, art, and design.  The study of piano began at an early age.  Voice and study of the organ followed.  A painter for many years; teaching, exhibiting, and active in artist's organizations, she also managed an interior design studio and established an art gallery business that specialized in Ohio artists. Today, Elizabeth is a designer and account representative in the Visual Merchandising Industry, and more recently, her love of the visual has led to video production.  Another creative pursuit of Elizabeth's is writing humorous poetry.

Elizabeth accomplishes all aspects of video production from shooting to editing.  Some productions include her own poetry and music compositions.  The Building Communities television Series produced for Public Access TV is an outgrowth of her passion for just that:  building communities.  Building communities that help heal and uplift the human spirit, while at the same time respecting the earth and all that that means.

Elizabeth created a series of collages a few years ago and wrote a poem along with it. (Games & Green Highways
link).  This series of artworks makes a visual comment on making changes in how we live and build.  She thought they would make a good video.  That lead to videography study, and not only the accomplishment of  the Games & Green Highways video, but the status of Director at DATV in Dayon, Ohio, and the production of the Building Communities show as an Independent Producer for DATV and other public access stations.

It is with optimism for a better tomorrow that Elizabeth presents Building Communities to the public.

And her hopes.  Might we increasingly live our lives and build our homes and businesses with compassion for the earth and her inhabitants.  Might we inspire our young Architectural and Design students to forge fearlessly into unfamiliar territories in their chosen profession.  Might we encourage our policymakers to become greater visionaries for a better tomorrow, and to address with vigor all of the issues of heart, home, and environment.  Might we all remember harm done is harm received.  Might we all find creative new ways to influence change.
